Rachel's Traffic Pro Page Hello, and welcome to "The Girls of Becker", a page designed to help you choose the voice for your Becker (Harmon Kardon/BMW) TrafficPro (TP) navigation unit. It is well known that the TrafficPro supports several different languages and, and in German, several different voices for your TrafficPro. The challenge is to pick a voice that suits you and your automobile's unique personality. You can change the voices using the "tools" panel that is accessed by pressing the button twice and choosing "Language". It takes approximately 1.5 minutes to switch voices. There are two versions of English, one for the British and one for the Americans as well as French, Italian, Spanish and three variations on German. (Note: be prepared to deal with the TrafficPro menus in the particular language you choose. If you're not really familiar with the language, make sure you understand the command structure before playing with different languages) With so much talent, it's hard to decide which voice to use. This page is intended to give you some guidance by providing you with actual, recorded samples of the voices of the "Becker Girls". Some additional background material is also provided, as well as photos. To the left, for instance, is Lady Fiona Applesmythe-Becker, the source of the British English program. The photo is, of course, from her infamous British-edition Playboy spread. "Fi" (GB English) Lady Fiona Applesmythe-Becker. Tarnished minor British Royal Family member, daughter of Lord Charles Applesmythe and Lady Dianna Becker. Known affectionately as "The Bad Apple", she posed nude for the both Razzel and Playboy in the late 1990's and has been described as "a lovely bit of crumpet" by more than one TrafficPro owner. Lady Fiona has been voted sexiest English voice. "BEV" (US English) Beverly "Bev" Becker. Graduate of UCONN, School of Nursing, 1985. Voted "party girl of the year 1995" by drunken alums. If Beverly's voice sounds a little clipped or choppy, it's probably because she had downed one-too-many Buds the night before her recording session.

"Ironpants Helga" (Frau1) Frau Helga (Großhosen) Becker-Bleucher. Dominatrix and minor movie star ("Young Frankenstein"). Helga 's voice is the most forceful of the Teutonic Trio. When the sheriff pulls you over for 110 in a 55, you can honestly say "I vas only following orders!"	"Ingrid" (Frau2) Ingrid Spretzle-Becker. Tour Guide for Hitler's Summer Camp (Berchesgarten) in the Tyrolean Alps . More light-hearted than Frau Helga, her recordings highlight her southern Bavarian heritage as well as her delightfully short dirndls. Woof!	"Gretel" (Frau3) Gretel Becker-Becker. Not your average German Haus-frau, Gretel joined the elite AutoBahn Stat-Politzie when she graduated from the University of Heidelberg. Gretel spends her days (and nights) patrolling the A4 in her RUF Turbo Porsche ticketing Eastern European motorists who insist on driving slower than 180 KPH in the left-hand lane. Voted sexiest foreign-language voice on the TrafficPro.

"Evette" (French) Evette Beckier-Levenier. Evette is actually French Canadian, but that does not stop her from donning the traditional national dress for this special picture. Her French may not be great, but who cares? She's here to serve you!	"Carm" (Spanish) Carmelina Becker Del La Suave. Latin American firecracker and semi-professional backup singer. Carm can also be heard in the chorus from "La Vida Loca". Famous high-school yearbook quote "Oh you mean I wasn't wearing any panties? (tee hee hee hee.....)"	"Rosy" (Italian) Rosalina Isabella Beckerino. Rosalina ("Rosy Cheeks" to her friends) knows all the autostrada from Rome to Sicily and they know her back. Rosy may not have the sexiest recording, but you can almost see her beautiful Mediterranean smile and those great pink cheeks as she tells you where to get off.
